Course Overview
This animal classification and natural history course provides learners with the knowledge and foundational understanding required to classify animals and interpret their role within agricultural and natural ecosystems. It focuses on the scientific classification of animals, their historical origins, and how their biological and behavioural characteristics influence their use in agriculture.
Learners will explore how different animal species are grouped within the animal kingdom, their geographical distribution, and their contribution to human development and farming systems. This animal classification and natural history course also introduces key biological concepts that underpin livestock management and production practices.
