Course Outcomes

 

SPECIFIC OUTCOME 1

Understand the importance of the choice of varieties and the stages of crop growth.

SPECIFIC OUTCOME 2

The learner will learn and understand the importance of planting techniques, time of planting and seeding rates as well as fertilisation and the recommendations thereof.

SPECIFIC OUTCOME 3

The learner will learn and identify the pests and diseases and the importance of the control measures.

SPECIFIC OUTCOMES 4

Understand the importance of harvesting methods and the milling process such as the grading process and the uses of wheat.

 

4 Week course at 5 hours per week as a guide, but students can complete on own time
